Founder.mood is an anti-graph social space: no public profiles or follows; each post and each comment thread uses a fresh alias. The Service lets people share experiences and advice without creating a public identity trail.

1. What we are

Founder.mood is an anti-graph social space: no public profiles or follows; each post and each comment thread uses a fresh alias. The Service lets people share experiences and advice without creating a public identity trail.

2. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

4. Your account & security

Post-first: You may post without an account.

Accounts: If you create an account, we store a non-reversible HMAC tag derived from your email (not the email itself) and a bcrypt hash of your password. Keep your credentials confidential.

Kill-switch: You can delete your account at any time (see §12).

5. Content and licences

Your rights: You own the content you post.

Our licence to host: You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content within the Service for the purpose of operating, improving, and moderating it. This licence ends when content is removed from the Service, except to the extent retained in backups for a limited time or where required by law.

Public nature: Posts are visible to others without linking to a profile. Don't post anything you wouldn't want to be public.

6. Community rules (what's not allowed)

You agree not to post or engage in content or conduct that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, incites violence, exploits minors, doxxes or reveals others' personal information, infringes IP, or otherwise violates these Terms. We may remove or restrict content and accounts at our discretion to keep the Service safe.

7. Anonymity model (how identities work)

No social graph: We do not provide public profile pages or follower graphs.

Unlinkable by design: Each post receives a new alias; comments use a per-thread alias consistent only within that thread. We do not expose cross-post linkage.

No marketing outreach: We don't keep plain-text emails and do not send marketing messages.

8. Moderation & safety

We use automated and human review to reduce harm, including optional AI-assisted anonymisation of names/places you choose to scrub. We may surface crisis resources when certain phrases are detected.

Important: The Service is not a crisis or medical service; in an emergency, contact local emergency services.

9. Third-party services

We may use infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting/CDN, bot-protection) and moderation tooling. Your use of the Service may be subject to their technical measures (e.g., anti-abuse checks). See the Privacy Policy for details.

10. Feedback

If you provide feedback or ideas, you grant us a free, perpetual licence to use them without obligation.

11. Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to avoid breaking changes, but we do not guarantee availability.

12. Termination & deletion

You may delete your account at any time. When you do:

Your account and credentials are deleted.

Your posts remain for community continuity but are permanently detached from any account (no user linkage).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not make warranties about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not provide professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss arising from user content or third-party services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed AUD $100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

Australian note: Standard-form consumer/small-business contracts must avoid unfair contract terms; penalties apply from 9 Nov 2023. We intend these Terms to be fair and reasonable.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts in NSW have exclusive jurisdiction. If a dispute arises, contact us first; we'll try to resolve it informally.

16. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
